The Sons of Liberty Gun Works A5 Receiver Extension is a 10-position receiver extension tube designed to work with the VLTOR A5 or BCM MK2 buffer system.
This receiver extension is slightly longer than the traditional M4 receiver extension and is designed to work with Mil-Spec dimensioned M4/AR-15 type collapsible stocks.
This receiver extension tube can also can be utilized as a replacement receiver extension for the AR-10 rifle.

I’m a custom builder and aside from aesthetics, my focus is the balance of weight in the hand and intuitive functionality. As such, i’m always looking for products that stand out from the market. The SOL buffer tube does just that in every category. The finish is deep black and no imperfections in the coating, looks professionally done and among the best I’ve seen. The threads are cut perfectly with no burrs or machine marks.The threads are deeper than usual to go a bit further into the receiver, featuring a lip that covers the spring detent, but allow the detent pin to protrude,nice.The 10 position adjustment stops are impeccable, again, no machine, burr or tool marks. More is better on any buffer tube and especially on an A5, the only A5 tube I know that has more than this SOL model is the V Seven A5 with 13. I like being able to make micro adjustments to my stock LOP, my customers do to. last notable item is there are drain holes, not important to me but it is if you run in gun inadvers wet condition. This is among one of the best A5, if not the best tubes, tubes on the market. My only suprise withthis prodcut was why it is only priced at about $60 street price. The only other product in this class and with more positions is the V Seven 2055 at $160. If you need an A5, you won’t better than this one, buy with complete confidence.
