This Lewis Machine & Tool M4 style flat top upper receiver comes from the factory with forward assist and dust cover already installed. This forged AR-15 upper receiver is compatible with Mil-Spec parts and lowers. The flat top picatinny rail features laser engraved T-marks to make it easier to put your optic back on in the same spot if you ever take it off. Hardcoat anodized black to military specifications, this LMT Upper Receiver is a reliable foundation for building a high-quality AR.

Great receiver, not anything too fancy, just milspec from same forge as many others. Didn’t have any issues being out of spec like other reviewers have stated. Also does match a standard milspec lower with milspec flat matte finish unlike other reviewers who are probably not understanding this upper matches the defender 2000 lower not the MARS. People are ignorant though. What can you do. Anyways rooftop you guys are awesome

Complete mismatched between LMT upper and LMT lower. The magazine-well “ridge” don’t even line up. Which is not a big deal. Even most top tier AR’s don’t, like DD and Noveske. But then you compound it with two completely different finishes. It makes you wanna puke. This is not on RTD, they’re top notch! This is on LMT getting different contractors to make their stuff with no kind of spec or QC or pride in their product. I have PSA blem receivers that look and assemble way nicer for 1/3 cost.

Not impressed. It is decent and functions, but certainly not living up to the LMT status of the hallowed tier that commands the premium cost. Fit on both LMT MARS-L and non MARS-L lowers is loose, has out of spec radius machining on the rear, and of course the infamous forge lines that do not line up. These uppers were intentionally used to keep a couple builds entirely LMT until the barrel because of LMT’s guaranteed fit claim. The claim of fit using their parts is exaggerated – they “fit”, as in they will assemble. It appears to be in the uppers, because other brands uppers fit tight/right. If knowing there would be this amount of slop needing a tension screw, money could have been saved to build with that supposed low tier brand. This isn’t on the best sweatshop in the business – this is on LMT.
