(Inside Diameter for barrel extension slightly undersized for a tighter fit to the barrel and a more accurate rifle. Please use a heat gun or hair dryer to warm up threaded bore of receiver if barrel extension is too tight.)

I just purchased this to pair with a Mega lower I’ve had sitting around for a while. I plan on starting a new build soon. I have to say that this upper receiver is absolutely flawless. The fit and finish are impeccable! The tolerances and fit with the lower are super clean and tight. I just purchased a new 16 inch Ballistic Advantage stainless steel fluted barrel to pair with it. There is zero chance that Barrel is fitting about upper receiver without being heat treated first. It took about 30 seconds with the heat gun and I was able to tap the Barrel in gently with the rubber mallet. The fit is so solid and tight. I would recommend this to anybody looking to either upgrade their current AR-15 or starting a new build.
As far as Rooftop Defense goes, they are amazing. This was my first time doing business with them. My package came within 3 days of me ordering. Baked at 200 fahrenheit for 10 min, barrel seated perfectly with a light tap, but I hope I never need to remove it! Upper has very tight lockup to a bad attitude lower, zero play. Slightly glossier finish than the lower, but no worries there.
Would definitely buy again.
