Forward Controls Design ABC/R v4 Bolt Catch
Augmented Bolt Catch/Release with is a replacement, drop-in bolt catch designed to improve handling and control over the rifle.
They are available with a few different styles, both serrated and dimpled variety, as well as center, forward and rearward bias.
Note: These are not suitable for use in 9mm PCCs.

Highly recommend these. Gives a nice tactile feel without looking and is extended enough to not have to make large motions when engaging. Be sure to check specs as fitment is an issue with some lowers.

I bought the rearward bias dimpled version. I like it a lot. I think this is worth it to me because it’s easier to push in with winter gloves on, and I live in AK. The dimples don’t really matter much to me. I use Radian’s extended bolt catch on another rifle, and this just barely has it beat for glove use. If money was no object or the Radian is out of stock, I’d pick this up instead. If the Radian is in stock under normal circumstances, I’d save myself the money and get that instead for the twenty-five less that it costs.
PS this did not work with the old version Aero XM15 lower bolt catch screw, rather than the roll pin it comes with. I’m sure it’ll fit M4E1.

These are great bolt catches. Since I am a left handed shooter the rearward biased catches are a huge improvement over mil-spec catches but even the center biased ones are much better than the standard mil-spec catches. I definitely recommend these.
