The LMT® SOPMOD buttstock is the preferred stock for USSOCOM Soldiers, hence its name. This buttstock is crafted from a durable polymer and provides a number of outstanding features which include:
- Rubberized buttpad for a more comfortable and non-slip surface in your shoulder pocket
- Improved cheek weld providing a more natural and comfortable cheek-to-stock
- Two watertight storage compartments for batteries or small articles (does not fit 18350/18650 or larger cells)
- QD swivel inserts on both sides

These are great stocks. However, I was a little disappointed to discover that these are Gen 1 stocks. The QD socket is the old style that does not have the rotation limiter. I had no idea any of these were still out there. I guess the NSN reflects that and that’s on me. But the stock will serve its purpose just with the annoyance of the sling twisting. And 5 starts for Abbie and Sol. Always great to do business with.
