LMT MRP 12″ 5.56 Piston Barrel, Gen 2
This LMT 12” Chrome Lined 5.56×45 1:7” RH barrel is designed to match the LMT MRP or MRP CQB quick-change barrel systems.
The piston and gas system has already been installed to match your MRP upper receiver. To install this barrel, use the factory torque wrench to release the retaining bolts at the base of your handguard, swap this barrel in, and tighten the bolts down to LMT’s spec. If you want to change calibers or barrel lengths, we offer several other MRP barrels to match your needs.

This barrel is made for the LMT CQB/MRP Monolithic receiver. It will not fit MWS receivers.

Perfect. As always from LMT. Great shooting. Perfect fit. Never regret buying LMT or LWRC, but the two will not mix. LWRC lowers will not work with LMT MRP uppers.

Sol’s service was, as usual, excellent; my order shipped very quickly. The barrel itself leaves me scratching my head. The portion of the barrel extension between the feed ramps has a deviation where it narrows toward the chamber. There is a thin wing of steel, like a burr, which veers left—enough that I can catch on it with a pick. I’m not sure if this will result in any reliability issues, but I am not enthused to see any imperfection in the feed path. I expect better QC for a barrel from a “premium” manufacturer, and in this price range.
