I’m pretty convinced that Sol somehow is telepathing me when I’m getting a bit hungry he has my back. I swear I barely had my card put away and I’m getting emails that it has shipped. This isn’t like generate tracking # purgatory, im saying like loaded on the truck on the way.
Rooftop is so much my favorite place to shop from it’s not even close. They run a damn good business.
This is the first matched receiver set I’ve ever purchased. Gotta say it’s honestly worth the money to do it. I’m guessing they probably hand pick best fit out of five or something or maybe the specs on each run are so similar they can do it.
In my hours spend researching I heard two things. Centurion is the best, and centurion cm4s have issues with selector fit, sloppy takedowns and a weird gap/ angle in fitment between grip and receiver.
I have not pin gauged it yet. But receiver and lower fit together dang good with no pins. With pins in, they also fit together well. Less sloppy fitment between upper and lower than most I’ve ran across. Fit a bcm upper as well, but obviously had the usual kinda fit being not matching.
Takedowns fit tight in the bores. Quality A1/a2 style grip fits mint zero gap or angle anywhere.
Threads, anodizing, roll marks etc all look good.
Very very pleased with the product. Thermal fit bore, is milled for receiver tension screw. I’d put this receiver against any I know of, doubly so at this price point. I give a quality rank same as lmt and very minor lead to lmt for full ambi, but it’s nearly double or more.
Mostly happy with how once again Rooftop took care of me.
