The LWRC IC forged complete ambidextrous lower receiver is an excellent starting point for a hard-use rifle.
The LWRC IC lower receiver offers ambidextrous controls to include: selector, magazine release and bolt catch and release. An enhanced flared magazine well and ambidextrous magazine and bolt catch mechanisms are machined directly into the receiver and have been designed to function as ergonomically as possible.
This lower receiver is designed with several unique LWRC features to further enhance its durability and versatility. All the controls are easily accessible without needing to change your grip on the rifle. Included is the LWRC Enhanced Fire Control Group with a Nickel Boron coating for a smooth pull every time. The lower itself is forged from aluminum, hardcoat anodized.

My favorite ambidextrous lower. I own a radian as well but LWRC is my all time favorite overall. The quality and ambi controls are exceptional! I’m using them for all my builds. The shipping was super quick and by the time I picked it up from my local FFL it was lunch time so the beef ramen came in clutch, didn’t even need to buy lunch. I’ll definitely ordering here for my build/accessory needs.

Rooftop defense is no kidding top notch, was impressed with the speed and detail, he included a hand written note when I ordered a upper requesting info on another gun I had wanted to our chase. First off – no joke, Rooftop is FAST. I had the receiver the same week I ordered it. Second, I purchased it pretty much based on them mentioning this as being their personal favorite. I was about to buy a stripped Radian and piece it together, but went this route instead. Guy at the gun shop was even impressed with it! I did swap the furniture, but it wasn’t bad. The stock is like a slimmer and shorter version of a B5. I didn’t love the trigger, but I only dry fired it before throwing in a Geisele G2S I already had. It felt kind of like a single stage, but with some creep – it didn’t have a very clean wall, but maybe it’s better under live fire! Receiver itself is beautiful and the ambi controls all feel really nice. I paired it with a HK MR556A1 upper and it had a very tight lock-up. Definitely a quality machined piece at a very reasonable price. If I didn’t already have spare furniture and a trigger picked out, I probably would’ve been perfectly fine with everything how it comes out of the box. This is my first LWRC product and I’m very happy. I’d happily buy another in the future.
