Unity Tactical AXON SL, Surefire/Modlite Scoutlight Plug, Single Lead Switch
AXON SL is the smaller, single button switch in the AXON family.
It hard mounts directly to an M1913 Rail. AXON SL features a 45-degree angled button face for an ergonomically correct activation angle, making it easy to index under stress, while wearing PPE or facing extreme environmental conditions.
Molded from high-impact polymer, AXON SL holds up to abuse in the field. The mechanical switch design allows weapon light models to fire in both momentary and constant-on modes in a familiar click tailcap design. Laser versions utilize a momentary only switch to facilitate use with the native double-click-for-constant-on feature found in most common lasers on the market. Dual-lead variants are SYNC, firing both light and laser simultaneously.

Solid switch, the angle works great for me and it doesn’t take up much space. I accidentally bought one with a longer cable this time so had to find decent cable management. The shorter cable tucks beside the pic rail between the switch and light perfectly. Pay attention when you buy boys.

I run Cloud Defensive Reins on all of my setups. I recently switch over to their new Surefire accessory compatible light bodies and added these switches to my rifles. My first experience with this switch was with my colleague’s rifle with an Malkoff light. The angle is perfect and easier to activate when c-clamping your rail. It’s very small and doesn’t take up as much rail space as the CD light switch.
