Ideal for long-range target identification, the M640DFT-PRO projects a blinding, peak beam intensity of 100,000 candela when powered by the included SF18650B rechargeable lithium-ion battery, or 90,000 candela when powered by two 123 lithium batteries. Its precision reflector creates a tightly focused, concentrated shaft of light with minimal bounce when peering over, under or around barricades. At the same time, it provides ample spill light to help the user maintain situational awareness.

Let me start by saying thy rooftop defense seems to be committed to providing the best service possible.
However, surefire can kick rocks. I got my light delivered and right out of the box it didn’t turn on.
I tried multiple charged surefire batteries that worked in other lights but this scout light would not turn on. After spamming the button I was able to get it to turn on for half second then it went out and never came back on.
I contacted their customer service but have not heard back yet. It’s very frustrating to drop this kind of cash on an “industry leading” product to not have it work at all. I know I’m not alone in this I was reading on some tactical forms and Surefire forms and other people have had similar experiences.
