A couple of my builds had SOLGW lowers with BCM uppers. They are intended for heavy duty use, so both made a good pairing for that purpose. I just didn’t like the finish on the BCM upper. It was dull and almost a charcoal gray. When I saw Sol had these SOLGW uppers, I jumped on them. They are beautiful and matched the lowers so well. Shipping was fast and my stack of post-it notes and ramen is growing exponentially. Of course Rooftop’s price was the best on the ‘net. I absolutely love this company and the products they provide. Nice, dark black coating and everything perfectly fits and works great. I had to take a blow dryer to warm-up the action so I could install the barrel. The rifle is functioning perfectly.
Now for the really important part. Rooftop Defense was awesome! They had it in-stock, and shipped it out extremely quick. They’re not kidding when they say “Fastest Sweatshop in the West”.
They’re one of the few that are at the top of my list when I start shopping.

Absolute gem of an upper. I have bought a few of them. Super tight, amazing finish and the best part it has the hole for the anti rotation pin for the handguard. I wish more handguards had the pin hole for anti rotation purposes.
