Sons of Liberty Gun Works 16″ .223 Wylde Midlength Precision SPR Barrel
The SOLGW Precision barrels are unquestionably the most accurate barrels Sons has ever offered.
Optimized for accuracy, the SPR contour and 5/8×24 threads at the muzzle are by no means lightweight, but they are routinely shooting 1/2MOA groups with multiple types of ammo.
The Precision series is 416R stainless steel, black oxide coated, and cut with .223Wylde chambers. These barrels are also polygonal rifled with a 3 groove, 1:7 twist bore.
Please note that these barrels will have a shorter lifespan than 4150CMV barrels, however their warranty still applies. If you can manage to shoot one out, SOLGW still replace it for you free of charge.

Nice barrel, great for the money, it’s heavy and requires a 5/8×24 muzzle device but it is accurate.

It’s a beautiful barrel… One thing I find cool, traditionally, the black oxide items that I have seen have kind of a matte finish… And almost look fuzzy from a distance… This is somewhat glossy and kind of looks stained… It looks great. I have not grouped this barrel yet. But you can really tell that this is a quality item. Shipping was super fast.

First time shooting a solgw barrel and it’s a tac driver. Heavy but smooth shooting. Perfectly gassed, nice feed ramp geometry and clean barrel extension lugs. Smooth chamber. There was a burr in the gas port but it shot right out with the first couple rounds. I am impressed. Best of all it has a lifetime warranty.

This barrel is insane. I’m getting .5 to .85 inch 5 shot groups with just regular cheap AAC 69,75, 77 and barrel is brand new. It’s a heavy barrel but it shoots lights out. I’ll be honest, I avoided their products, as I’ve not been a believer in the Sons of Liberty hype train… until now. I’ll be buying more of their stuff from now on.
