ModButton Lite is a smaller lighter weight cousin to the original ModButton. The switch features the same momentary only activation as the original ModButton. It also features the same high power cable and switch from ModButton but in a slightly smaller package without the integrated mount. The switch is made from injection molded plastic and fully potted to provide extra degree of protection in harsh environments ensures a durable long lasting switch. The plug is compatible with PEQ15, DBAL, BE Meyers® MAWL™ and Wilcox® RAIDx™ lasers.
The package includes the switch PIC mounting rail and mounting hardware only. Additionally an adapter is also available for MLOK rails.
Note on cable length options: For almost all use cases the 4.5in variant is what you want to buy. Unless you have a special setup the 4.5 in cable is going to be plenty even running a laser.

First ones mount broke immediately, got a replacement and it broke shortly after. Modlite customer service will make it right but i didnt even bother since it caused my dbal d2 to flicker or not turn on it all. no issues with the included dbal d2 tape switch. I would pass

Extremely weak mount. one is fine one broke almost immediately. The part against the nut is just glued on and one failed without even getting close to snug.

This button works better and is more compact than the unity hot button for my setup.
The hot button put my had at an unnatural angle on a 7″ top rail mount. The modbutton with short lead lets me mount it directly behind my laser and use a thumb over top grip and activation.
The unity hot button is nice, but not for over the top rail. Also the modbutton allows me to do both momentary and double tap constant on.
Works for me and rooftop defense made it possible. Great company to work with and the head sweat shop worker even donated his dinner to help me pay for it.

I would like to start by saying that this company left me in complete shock. I ordered two items off their website on February 5th, midnight. I woke up on February 6th, at 11am with my package on my doorstep! Not mention that one of the items I purchased was impossible to find anywhere else and cheaper through Rooftop Defense! (A Black Surefire UE Tail-cap) When opening my package, I found that everything was packaged securely and sent with bonus items! I received a copy of the constitution, and a pack of Shrimp flavored ramen, that stated and I quote, “ Brandon, We know this addiction is expensive, so enjoy a free meal on us, -Abbie”
As said before, it left me in shock. I love to see company’s striving for fast and good hearted service. For this, I will ALWAYS check rooftop defense for the items I’m looking for, even if they are more expensive. I look forward to doing more business with them, and will always refer them first.
