This Lewis Machine and Tool bolt carrier group is a full auto rated, M16 cut carrier designed for long term durability and reliability.
The L7D3 is the perfect BCG for a Mil-Spec build or upgrade from sub-par equipment. The manganese phosphate carrier is machined out of 8620 Carpenter steel and has been magnetic particle inspect to ensure the dimensions are Mil-Spec or greater. The gas key has been properly staked to prevent the hardened screws from backing out over time and the heavier weight of the M16 profile helps to prevent bolt bounce during rapid fire. This LMT 5.56 bolt carrier is the perfect addition to your next “bomb-proof” ar-15 build.

This a review for another that I got. It had a chipped gas key out of the box and had to go through a CS process with LMT. They did resolve it after proof it wasn’t installed and run. Repair or replacement (couldn’t tell if they just swapped the gas key) is very smooth and runs great in a LMT flattop attached to a DD 12.5 bbl. I don’t have spec tolerance gauges, so time will tell if any unusual wear occurs.
