The Lewis Machine and Tool MWS/SR-25 buffer tube is a great choice for your next build. It is made out of lightweight and durable aluminum and is designed specifically for .308 and 6.5 caliber rifles.

This carbine length buffer tube is built to Mil-Spec dimensions for use with all your favorite adjustable carbine stocks. However, it is slightly longer to accommodate standard carbine buffer weights and springs. This length allows for an additional adjustment hole for a total of 7 adjustment positions for even more length of pull options. With extremely precise and durable threads, this .308 buffer tube will lock tightly into any AR-10 lower. It also features an extended lip that sits against the buffer retaining pin for additional strength and helps to prevent carrier tilt.
