LMT MARS-L 14.5″ 5.56 MLR MLOK Pistol

Available exclusively from us, this MARS-L comes in a pistol format to give you that 14.5″ LMT you always wanted without the hassle of chopping or swapping your barrel.

Built from the factory as a pistol, this 14.5″ gun offers multiple options in how you can use it:

  • It can remain a pistol with the use of a pistol brace
  • It can become a standard rifle with a pinned muzzle device to reach a barrel length of 16.1″
  • It can become a short-barreled rifle with a tax stamp and Form 1

LMT continues to provide their renown and patented Monolithic Rail Platform, MRP™. Famous for being the only true monolithic rail platform and being milled from a single solid piece of aerospace aluminum forging, it utilizes two locking bolts to secure the barrel extension. This technology engages the barrel for a full 360 degrees around the extension for great heat dissipation and accuracy. It also makes the barrel removable within seconds with a return to zero of the same barrel. One receiver can utilize numerous barrels of varying length and calibers.

At the heart of this rifle is LMT’s MRP barrel. They are cryogenically treated and chrome-lined for long-term durability and accuracy. These barrels utilize a low-profile gas block and a straight gas tube for longevity.

The MARS-L lower receiver features truly ambidextrous controls for left-handed operation. While it comes with an ambidextrous safety and magazine release, it most notably includes an ambidextrous bolt release and bolt catch. Comes with an ergonomic textured G2 grip and enhanced trigger guard. As with all LMT lower receivers, the extension tube is coated with dry film lubricant.

This pistol comes with one magazine and owner’s manual.

This 14.5” LMT MARS MLR is built like a brick sh1thouse and shoots like a laser. Great price and super fast shipping. Sol is the best in the business!

  2. Matt F. (verified owner)

Absolutely love this pistol – incredible price on this, was a no brainer. Definitely plan on ordering more from Rooftop

After debating between this and a 14.5” KAC, I’m glad I went with LMT. Lightweight and slightly over gassed, but I like that. It’s accurate enough and known to be very reliable. Many of my friends have owned both and the KAC rifles are shooters, but don’t get shot as much. The LMTs get abused and keep running. Maybe because they aren’t afraid of replacing parts on the LMT. Also the monolithic upper is just objectively better. Nobody buys the KAC barrel nut tools. Anybody can pick up a T-30 torx bit and swap barrels on an LMT. This website has the Enhanced LMT bolts in stock right now. Goes great with this gun, and lasts way longer than standard bolts

Sol is very helpful and knowledgeable helped me greatly with questions I had in purchasing my first non-handgun fire arm, that I intend to make into a rifle. Unfortunately I received a lemon from LMT with the BCG completely getting stuck over and over again in the upper. Working through the warranty with LMT now.

This is probably the best deal you can find on a complete (new) LMT rifle anywhere, minus a stock. The 14.5 length is perfect, and it amazes me how much difference it makes in weight and handling versus a 16. The quality control is very good on mine. No visible blemishes or machine marks, tight fitting with absolutely no play, and the rifle is rock solid due to the monolithic upper. There’s not much to desire replacing on the gun, though I already swapped the charging handle and safety selector. The trigger is heavier than I expected and will likely get replaced. Rooftop was very easy to work with, and the rifle arrived quickly.
