The Lewis Machine and Tool Defender stripped lower receiver is an excellent starting point for a hard-use rifle.
This stripped AR-15 lower is forged from highly durable 7075 aluminum and has a hardcoat anodized finish. It is fully compatible with Mil-Spec lower parts and made to the exacting tolerances LMT is known for.

Great lower receiver, great price on it and hard to find at times without paying more then retail for it, it has some machining marks but has tight tolerances, I’ve used Wilson combat, Aero, and a few Geissele lowers and so far have been unimpressed with the tolerances on those lowers. Had great service from Rooftop Defense, ordered on a Monday and had it at my FFL by Friday, They answered all questions I had asked
