HUXWRX Flash Hider QD 5.56 XL, 1/2×28
A flash hider that utilizes the Torque Lock technology for your HUXWRX or OSS suppressor
The Flash Hider-QD 556 is designed to mitigate flash when unsuppressed. This flash hider utilizes Torque Lock technology that self-tightens it to your muzzle with every round fired. Flash Hider-QD 556 is compatible with Flow 556k, HX-QD 556k, 556, 762, 762 Ti and Magnum Ti suppressors.
Muzzle device length is 2.96 inches, length added to barrel is 2.34 inches. Built for 13.7″ platforms to bring barrel to 16″ overall length (on barrels with 0.6″ threads) and works on 13.9″ to bring barrel to 16.2″ overall length. Pre-drilled for ease of pin and weld.
NOTE: Larger caliber mounts are NOT compatible with smaller caliber suppressors. Smaller caliber mounts ARE compatible with larger caliber suppressors.

It’s just what I needed to get nearly flush with a 10 inch handguard, and a 10.3 barrel. It’s a great product, and I have to say rooftops service is even better. I expected it to arrive two days later, but it shows up early with a handwritten thank you note. It’s also the best deal on the internet. My local gun store wanted $180 for this. Also don’t buy one of these unless you are running a huxwrx can, makes no sense. (Yeah it does look cool)

Scratches very easily. Emailed Huxwrx 3 times for answers as to why the wrench they supplied scuffed up the muzzle device and they didn’t reply. QC on these is terrible, but I am stuck buying these because of the suppressor I purchased.

I need to acknowledge the processing speed of this item. Rooftop defense was phenomenal! This order started at 10pm, and was ready to ship at midnight. I got it in time, and got to show off my hux 556 ti thanks to rooftop and their hard work… thank you!
Now for the fh. It’s great. Hux makes an incredible product, and you don’t even need to time these flash hiders. Torque it down and it’s ready to host your hux silencer. You don’t need rocksett with these either since the silencer torques left, so righty loosy. This means any time you need to gorilla the suppressor off your host, you are actually tightening the muzzle device. No more “oh shit” moments when your muzzle device unscrews with the suppressor. Wrenching the suppressor off actually tightens the muzzle device. I needed the xl fh because my threads were recessed under my handguard and I needed the extra length so the 556 ti would shoulder to it without touching the handguard. Great muzzle device, brilliant qd system, and great experience from rooftop defense. Couldn’t be happier!
