A flash hider that utilizes the Torque Lock technology for your HUXWRX or OSS suppressor
The Flash Hider-QD 556 is designed to mitigate flash when unsuppressed. This flash hider utilizes Torque Lock technology that self-tightens it to your muzzle with every round fired. Flash Hider-QD 556 is compatible with Flow 556k, HX-QD 556k, 556, 762, 762 Ti and Magnum Ti suppressors.
Muzzle device length is 2.3 and length added to barrel is 1.7 inches.
NOTE: Larger caliber mounts are NOT compatible with smaller caliber suppressors. Smaller caliber mounts ARE compatible with larger caliber suppressors.
*In an attempt to minimize waste, some suppressors, accessories and muzzle devices may arrive in OSS packaging while we transition to the new HUXWRX packaging.

Wouldn’t necessarily pick this particular flash hider to use without a suppressor, but that’s not why anyone is buying this. Works fantastic with my Flow 556K. I’m a fan of the reverse threading for the suppressor so it doesn’t have a tendency to loosen. Great service from Sol at Rooftop – couldn’t recommend buying from him enough. Thanks Sol!

Works well as a flash hider, does subjectively seem to make the shot louder when used bare without my flow 556k ( also purchased at rooftop) possibly because of the enclosed end? Not sure. Love it as a mount for my 556k, prefer my smith enterprises vortex as a pure flash hider.
I try to buy from rooftop whenever I can, couldn’t ask for a better customer service experience than I’ve received from Sol and rooftop defense.
