The USP Elite features a long sight radius and magwell for sporting and competitive use.

USP Elites are the largest variant of the USP family. The long sight radius aids in precision while the Jet Funnel magazine well allows the use of larger 18-round magazines. These magazines feature a large, steel baseplate that assists in getting the magazine out of the pistol sooner. The match trigger provides a lightened and smooth trigger press. The trigger shoe has an overtravel stop that can be adjusted to the shooter’s preference.

All USPs use a fiber-reinforced polymer frame stiffened by stainless steel inserts at areas subject to stress and friction. Using a modified Browning-type action with a special patented recoil reduction system, the USP recoil reduction system reduces recoil effects on pistol components and also lowers the recoil forces felt by the shooter. This same recoil reduction system has been tested and proven in the HK Mark 23 pistol developed for the U.S. Special Operations Command.

The modular design of the USP allows it to be configured in nine different configurations, including allow the control levers to be swapped from side to side, with or without a safety or DA/SA or DAO/LEM modes.
