Its short-stroke gas piston operating system does not impart hot carbon fouling back into the action, allowing the weapon to run longer, with less maintenance and with less wear on internal components than direct-impingement ARs. Its adjustable gas regulator allows the operator to tune the action specifically for suppressed or unsuppressed operation. If you own a 16″ HK MR 762 A4 in the era of $0 tax stamps, but do not own this URG…. you are wrong, and should feel bad. Seriously, do your Form 1 and get the short boi 13″. Run your nice high end Nightforce on the 16″, but stick on a nice RDO + Magnifier on this guy and do some cool guy stuff. Mine fit very tightly, so I had to remove the two little rubber bumpers at the front pivot pin area to get it to close fully.
