New for 2025, the EMR-A is redesigned and improved for greater leverage and smoother function.
The Forward Controls Design EMR-A is a drop-in replacement magazine release that is compatible with most AR-15 and AR-10 lower receivers. It uses an extended lever with redesigned geometry to enhance leverage for left-handed users.
A 10.9 pound spring is included to reduce accidental activation of the magazine release. Available in two different textures, in serrated and dimpled styles.
Machined from steel and finished in black nitride. Made in the United States.

FCD EMR V2 I installed these on 2 rifles and they are by far one of the better mag releases on the market the fit finish and overall quality of FCD cannot be beat, and props to Rooftop for the fast shipping.

Unfortunately this new version (V2) of the left handed mag release is not yet available in the extended version. After doing a side by side comparison with the extended version I’ve had for the last 2+ years, I definitely like the extended version (which is V1) more. However they both command 5 ⭐ ratings.
