The MK18 RIII AR15 style Upper Receiver Group is unmatched in size, weight, and performance, and is built around a 10.3 inch Cold Hammer Forged M4 Profile barrel with a Daniel Defense Flash Suppressor, a GRIP-N-RIP Charging Handle, and our carbine length gas system. It features a 9.5 inch lightweight RIS III rail—modeled after the revolutionary RIS II two-piece handguard developed for SOCOM— which features M-LOK attachment for lighter weight. All Daniel Defense complete upper receiver groups come standard with an M16 profile bolt carrier group.

Rooftop Def as a company was awesome. Great price, very, very fast shipping, excellent communication, bonus ramen in the box. The DD upper is well… DD, great quality, shoots accurate and very gassy on a DD full ambi lower with an H1 and even an H2 buffer using a Sierra 5 can. Prepare for tears of freedom with this upper and a non-flow through can.
