The Condition One Modular Mount is Badger Ordnance’s answer to a growing demand for modularity in optical platform mounting. With the ever-expanding options available to shooters in the accessory and electro-optic markets, Badger Ordnance saw the need for a mount that can make the most use of precious real estate on rifle platforms while acting as a centralized hub for attachments and not suffering from deflection seen on optics and lasers attached to handguards. The C1 Modular Mount offers the end user four accessory mounting points on the Unimount body both left, right, fore, and aft to suit a wide range of shooter’s needs. Unlike traditional ring cap accessories, the C1 accessories can be located in the same height and offset throughout various main mount heights giving the shooter a more consistent offset throughout models.
This variant of C1 Modular Mount is 1.70” which is the common height of lower 1/3rd red dot optics. For shooters who prefer lower 1/3rd red dot optics and want commonality with their Low Power Variable Optics, 1.70″ is the choice. Made from 7075-T6 aluminum Type III Hard Coat Anodized. Weight 6.3oz.

I’m so glad that decided to scour the web for this product. I had been on the backorder list at Brownells since January, but on a whim, I decided to look for it again. I found it here, at Rooftop Defense, a retailer I had not yet purchased from. I took a risk and placed the order.
The mount shipped extremely quickly, and I was very pleased with service provided. I mainly wanted this mount for the integrated 45° offset red dot mount. I went with a Holosun 508T. The two look great as a pair.
The only thing I wasn’t excited about was the horizontal clamps (I really prefer the ease of vertical clamps). My experience with this mount had the scope mounted and leveled with little effort. I haven’t decided if I want to lap the scope rings, but they looked fairly clean and I may just add some rosin to the rings. Overall an excellent product.

I have a 34mm C1 mount and love how solid and modular it is. I wanted a 30mm mount so I could move the offset T2 to different uppers. I was fortunate to get this 1.7” mount from Rooftop during the sale. The mount is the best the market has to offer. It’s a simple, solid design and modular across different platforms with the offered accessories. I highly recommend these mounts and Rooftop Defense as well (thanks for the the copy of the constitution and the noodles)!

Only mount that I will ever purchase now. I have had Larue, ADM, and MI mounts in the past. As nice as they are and the them being QD, they don’t even compare to the quality of this BO mount. I have found that I don’t miss the QD systems and now prefer a torqued system like this. The machining and fitment is superior in every way. And the modularity this offers is a super convenient feature.
