The Condition One Modular Mount is Badger Ordnance’s answer to a growing demand for modularity in optical platform mounting. With the ever-expanding options available to shooters in the accessory and electro-optic markets, Badger Ordnance saw the need for a mount that can make the most use of precious real estate on rifle platforms while acting as a centralized hub for attachments and not suffering from deflection seen on optics and lasers attached to handguards. The C1 Modular Mount offers the end user four accessory mounting points on the Unimount body both left, right, fore, and aft to suit a wide range of shooter’s needs. Unlike traditional ring cap accessories, the C1 accessories can be located in the same height and offset throughout various main mount heights giving the shooter a more consistent offset throughout models.
This variant of C1 Modular Mount is 1.70” which is the common height of lower 1/3rd red dot optics. For shooters who prefer lower 1/3rd red dot optics and want commonality with their Low Power Variable Optics, 1.70″ is the choice. Made from 7075-T6 aluminum Type III Hard Coat Anodized. Solid mount, and modular. Purchased the 1.70 height, which is the perfect height IMO for a lpvo. I like that it has two lugs underneath. Rooftop Defense stands behind what they offer, with great prices and fantastic service.

Arrived on a Tuesday, mounted and sighted in on Saturday. It’s holding a NF NX8 1-8 on a Colt 6920. I haven’t used the modular features (yet) but it’s a very rugged a simple mount. Torque values are etched on the mount itself which is convenient. The combo of this mount and my chosen optic are perfect for the rifle/setup and a light magnified carbine survival rifle. Once mounted and torqued, it stayed put and did not loosen. I almost went with the 1.54 but a friend advised the 1.70 for use with just a scope. Glad I listened. I didn’t have any immediate plans for the modular features but it’s nice to know they’re there if/when I change my mind. I will end up getting another mount as I continue to equip other rifles with magnified optics. Highly recommend. And Rooftop is the place to get it. They stock the best gear and ship quick.
