The ‘Assaulter’ commercial 13″ variant of the legendary HK417, the MR762A4 represents an enhanced example of “no compromise” HK performance.
Its short-stroke gas piston operating system does not impart hot carbon fouling back into the action, allowing the weapon to run longer, with less maintenance and with less wear on internal components than direct-impingement ARs. Its adjustable gas regulator allows the operator to tune the action specifically for suppressed or unsuppressed operation. Fully ambidextrous controls, lighter weight and a slimmer profile make the new A4 easier to operate, manipulate and employ.

I already own a HK MR 7.62 A1, The HK MR 7.62 A4 pistol with a 13″ barrel is so sweet to see, up until now it was military and LE only! I will be converting this one to a SBR after the first of the year. The A4 models with the selectable for suppressed or not suppressed make the shooting experience so much nicer with much less gas coming back at you.
