The KAC URX 4 Forend Kit is a fully modular design that utilizes the revolutionary M-LOK accessory mounting system. The URX 4 Rail is stronger and more stable than previous URX designs due to its one-piece construction. It is also lighter due to its Integral Barrel Nut (IBN) system of attachment. The IBN system allows the rail itself to act as the barrel nut when torqued onto the rifle, completely eliminating the need for a separate steel barrel nut. M-LOK accessories may be mounted anywhere along the URX 4’s length, making it one of the most user configurable designs on the market.

Run IR Laser confidently with this rail because how Knights engineered this to be used without a barrel nut. Shins are provided for the timing to the receiver. This rail will not shift on you. Additionally the length is perfect. I like how only my muzzle device protrudes outside of the rail without interfering with my suppressor. Very clean look.

My first URX rail, I’ve had quite a few different Geissele and Daniel Defense rails, as well as a BCM MCMR. I was surprised how lightweight yet rigid the rail was taking it out of the box compared to other rails I’ve had its same length. Installation was straightforward and easy, excellent design. Only had to use one shim to get it at 11’oclock, excellent fit and minimal if no gap. After about 6 months or so of use now I’ve grown to love this rail. If they ever came back in stock I absolutely would buy one for another upper.

The one piece design is what I love about this handguard. Once in place it does not move. And since it’s a kac there were no defects and a great finish. Great for any sbr or pistol.
