First and foremost, Rooftop always gets 5 stars. Super fast shipping and amazing CS. Now on to the EPC. It’s a good looking EPC and it fits well with a standard Aero upper. The reason why I’m giving it 3 stars is because I had to file down a portion of the cover so it’ll move freely, otherwise it would hang up immediately and wouldn’t open all the way. Only took a few minutes of sanding to get it to open freely. not a huge deal. Just want to let future buyers know that you might have to file it down to work properly with your upper. (if you’re looking at the picture above of the EPC, I had to file down those ridges that are next to the spring. They would immediately make contact with the lower and cause it to hang up.)

The only reason this isn’t a five star review is I had to file and sand part of the cover to make it fit. The polymer was contacting the receiver and not allowing it to move freely. My upper is from smith and Wesson so maybe there was a quality control issue with them. If you have a billet receiver or one of questionable parentage like mine be prepared to do some sanding it’s worth the effort. That being said, I love this cover!!
Great service from Rooftop defense! The noodles came in handy while I was working to install the cover. Gave the pocket constitution to my kid in the Marines.
